Ludwig Blochberger – Short biography Ludwig Blochberger brings together acting and music. Born in East Berlin in 1982, he received his early musical training with the Vienna Boys’ Choir before studying at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. His film and television credits include Summer Storm, The Lives of Others, Kommissar Dupin, The Old Fox and the international series Kabul. His stage work has taken him to the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Komische Oper Berlin and the Vienna State Opera, among other venues. He shared a longstanding artistic collaboration with director Hans Neuenfels. With Neil Young – Comes a Song, based on a text by Navid Kermani, and the musical and literary revue Manfred Krug – Abgehauen, he creates his own stage programmes combining storytelling, singing and live music.
