Ludwig Blochberger presented the 2024 European Culture Award to the Vienna Boys’ Choir and Vienna Girls’ Choir and delivered a tribute in their honour. The gala took place at the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
Ludwig Blochberger has decided to leave the ZDF crime series The Old Fox after seven years playing Detective Tom Kupfer. His final episode airs on ZDF on 6 May 2022 at 20:15.
As he leaves, Ludwig Blochberger expresses his gratitude for the trust, years of collaboration and tremendous support he received during his time on The Old Fox. Following the birth of his son last year and at the start of a new chapter in his life, he wants to embrace change and pursue new artistic challenges, in the spirit of Friedrich Schiller’s words: “Variety is the spice of pleasure.”
